Meet The Staff

God changed my life drastically as a college student which gives me the privilege to walk alongside students to teach them how to grow closer to Him and allow Him to permeate all they do.

The Lord has burdened my heart for international students here at Purdue and across N. America. I love to learn about various cultures and hear the life stories of students. I also enjoy teaching the Bible to make complicated simple.

God got a hold of my life through campus ministry and now I live to impact students for Christ during that critical decision making time to encourage them to live for Him daily.

I love to teach students about who Jesus is and to encourage them to give their lives to Him and grow in their love, surrender and faith in Him.

When I was in college I was fortunate to be a part of a campus ministry that helped me understand my identity in Christ and discover God’s will for my life. I love college students and I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to help them do the same.

I am serving with Launch because I understand firsthand the importance of reaching out to student in the most critical turning point of their lives. I'm passionate about walking alongside students through the good, the bad, and the ugly showing them Jesus at every turn.
Meet The Volunteer Staff

This ministry helped me grow in my faith so much in college, and I got to figure out my passion for specifically mentoring, but in a broader sense: college ministry.
Meet The STUDENT ORGANIZATION LEADERS (2022-2023)

our history
Launch Campus Ministry was founded at Purdue in 1962 as Baptist Student Union (BSU). In the mid 90’s the name was changed to Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). In 2011 International Campus Ministry (ICM) was formed as a brother organization to reach international students. Then in 2013 the name changed again to Purdue Collegiate Ministry (PCM). In the fall of 2019 PCM & ICM merged and rebranded to the current name Launch Campus Ministry. The name change and merge has not changed the focus of reaching all students at Purdue University for Jesus. We are supported by the Wabash Valley Baptist Association which is a group of Southern Baptist churches in the greater Lafayette area. Students do not have to be Baptist to be a part of our group. We welcome students from all backgrounds from never knowing about Jesus Christ or growing up in another denominations. Launch Campus Ministry welcomes anyone who is interested in community and learning more about Jesus Christ.

The Bible
The Bible is without error, because it was given to us by God through the writings of men. It is relevant to us today because we believe it was written to be applicable throughout time. Each of us is responsible for reading and applying it to our daily lives.
God
He is the one and only everlasting Supreme Being. He has always been and will always be. He is the creator of all things. He exists in three personalities—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—yet He is only one God. We call this the Trinity. God is all knowing, all powerful, perfect and deserves our praise and adoration.
Jesus
He is God’s one and only son who was sent to earth from Heaven to live a perfect life, but to die as a sacrifice for the sin of all people. He fulfilled the prophecy of His coming, and also fulfilled what He said he would do by raising on the third day after dying a brutal death. He returned to heaven and will return to earth for the second coming.
The Holy Spirit
The Spirit enters our life at the point of salvation. The Spirit guides and directs us in our everyday lives.
Humanity
People are a creation of God in His image. Because of the sins of humanity, we have been separated from God and all have sinned. Without Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection we all would spend eternity in hell.
Salvation
Jesus Christ is the one and only way to heaven. His death paid the price for our sins so that we were cleansed of all our sins. We have done nothing to deserve eternity in Heaven, but God chose to love and forgive us of our sins.
The Church
The church is a body of believers including all generations—not just one. This is why we promote the local churches and believe that the Launch Campus Ministry is not a church but an arm of the local church. It is important for us to worship together and encourage one another while reaching out to the world.
Missions
Jesus called all to go and spread the good news. Some will spend their life in a foreign land telling others, some will have a full-time vocation in ministry, and others will share right where they are. We are all to spread His good news wherever God has called you.
We support and hold to Southern Baptist beliefs.
